9 am on 11/21, i was fishing an underwater hump, had caught 1 keeper crappie & several LMB. one more cast with a 1/6 chart twister before i pulled away. boy am i glad i made that cast. bouncing it down the slope, it was sucked in @ around 15 ft. heavy, i've got another bass. when i got it to the top & saw that crappie, thats when i messed my britches, as i reached for the net. needless to say i spent another hour casting that jig at that hump, but no more giants. took it to bobcats, for weight & measure. bobby used some formula to calculate springtime weight & said it would be over 4 lbs. in spring. FD, i had told you bout a week earlyer, that throwing back 2 lb ers was not working for me. guess you was right again, however, i just couldn't put it back in hopes for a 4 lb. THANK YOU GOD for my biggest ever. going on my wall.
THANKS guys, i will be out there looking for one bigger. may not catch him but never stop dreaming. FD, had told me to throw back the 2lb if i wanted to catch a 3lb & throw back the 3lb if i wanted a 4 lb, but i just couldnt do it.
