Rudd's is still closed, new dock in and looks good, don't know why you can't use it!! Eastland is open use ramp "closest" to dock. Longwood is good, use ramp "farthest" from dock. Bluestone is open but it looks a little dicey, ramp farthest from dock is closed, one next to it is open. Lakes come up a least a foot in the last week, whopee.
genec, ya must have give'em all the sore mouth. we fished yesterday an had our worst day this winter, only 15 keepers. couldn't mark any fish on most of the piles we fished an on the ones where we did mark fish, catch a few an they would leave. went to SML Friday an caught 31 stripers with one citation, 36 inches. most on a jiggin spoon, 14 castin to bustin fish. Gene, I bet ya remember some of them days on Buggs from yrs back...
DOC,THE PROBLEM IS ,YOUR BAD DAYS ARE BETTER THAN MOST OF US GOOD DAYS. YES I REMEMBER THAT MY ONLY FISHING ON BUGGS WAS BASS ,STRIPPERS AND WP,THAT IS WHERE AND WHY I INVENTED A BOUY WINDER BECAUSE I WOULD GO OVER SHADS IN WINTER AND THROW OUT MARKERS AND HAD TO WIND THEM IN THE COLD,WINDING THEM IN 40 FEET OF WATER MEANT IT TOOK 80 TURNS ,BY THEN MY HANDS WERE COOOLD
I looked at the ramp at Eastland last month and saw sand up to the water line so I went and put in at Rudds. Water level is about the same as it was that day, am I overlooking something here? I didn't want to back my trailer into sand.

My good friend put his 24' pontoon in at eastland about 11 days ago. He said the ramp closest to the dock was fine and he had no problem getting in or out. He is also the one who said the lake level was up a foot. He fishes this lake way more than me so he keeps a pretty close eye on things.
